Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Passenger Train Excursions

The Reading & Northern Railroad runs quite a variety of passenger train excursions under the auspices of the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad. These trains operate to different destinations in Northeastern Pennsylvania using a variety of passenger equipment and motive power. The passenger cars range from open air coaches, to first class lounge cars, and even a full length dome car! The motive power can be either steam, (Reading 2102), or diesel, and also includes Budd RDC cars!

Gettysburg Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies 5/25, 2026

The annual Gettysburg Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony is one of the oldest continuous ceremonies in the country. Monday May 25th, 2026, at 2pm, the procession will move through downtown Gettysburg to the Soldiers' National Cemetery. The parade will conclude there and The Memorial Day Ceremony will take place at the rostrum. The hallowed grounds of the Gettysburg Battlefield Park is a fitting place to honor and remember all those men and women who gave their lives while serving our country.
