Whether it be from our spacious decks, observation room, or even taking a walk along the river, you never know what you are going to see! This time of year is a great to see the many colorful Gold Finches and Baltimore Orioles in their bright mating plumage nesting around the premises. Here are some of some of the recent bird sightings: Goldfinch, American Red Start, Baltimore Oriole, Bay Breasted Warbler, Belted Kingfisher, Black-Crowned Night Heron, Blue Jay, Brown Thrasher, Brown-Headed Cowbird, Chickadee, Wren, Cedar Waxwings, Chimney Swift, Loon, Merganser, Downy Woodpecker, Kingbird, Phoebe, Towhee, Wood-pewee, Gray Catbird, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, House Finch, Wren, Kildeer, Mallard Duck, Mourning Dove, Northern Cardinal, Orchard Blackbird, Rock Dove, Rough Winged Swallow, Song Sparrow, Tree Swallow, Tufted Titmouse, White Breasted Nuthatch, Wood Ducks, Wood Thrush, Yellow Warbler and Bald Eagles!
