Reservation Policy:
A deposit equal to one night's stay, including tax, will be required to guarantee
room reservations, payable by check, or money order only. We are unable to take
credit card information over the phone due to security risks. Deposits not received
within thirty days of confirmation, or seven days prior to arrival date, whichever
comes first, will result in cancellation of reservations.
Cancellations: Deposit(s) may be applied to a future stay provided cancellation is
made 14 days or more before arrival date, and we are able to re-rent the room(s).
Reservations cancelled less than 14 days before arrival date will result in forfeiture
of deposit.
Single night reservations are accepted Sunday through Thursday only. There is no extra
charge for single night stays, however we cannot guarantee a specific room but do
guarantee a room will be available. For those wishing to stay on Friday or Saturday,
a two night minimum stay is necessary. The two nights can be Thursday and Friday,
Friday and Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday. However, weekend single night reservations
are accepted the preceding Monday if rooms are available. Group policies for renting the
Bridgeview B&B are as follows: 50% Non-Refundable Deposit of Total Bill Required. Deposit
can be paid by cash, personal checks, travelers checks, Visa & Mastercard. Should
Reservation be canceled at any time for any reason deposit is Non-Refundable. These
policies are in effect to ensure that in the event of a cancellation the B&B will not
have to absorb all, but still half, of the revenue loss. In the event you do find it
necessary to cancel, we will make every effort to rent the rooms.
Guest Policies: Many of the area activities
invite muddy or greasy shoes. We ask that guests examine their shoes before entering the
premises, and suggest that you bring an extra pair of shoes just for in-house use. A
surcharge may be levied if grease or creosote is tracked into your room. NO SMOKING is
permitted anywhere inside the building. Cigarette smoking is permitted only in the picnic
area and on the porch/deck. Cigar smoking only in the picnic area. Cooking is not permitted
in the rooms. Under no circumstances should guests trespass on railroad property, including
the embankment across Main Street from the B&B. Our guests should be aware that this
location is occasionally subject to flooding. In the event of a flood we will make every
attempt to find alternative lodging for our guests. No camping or loitering is permitted
on the premises. There are no public restroom facilities. Bridgeview's guests enjoy quiet
hour from 11:00 pm through 7:00 am. Please keep portable electronics to a minimum volume
during this time. Each suite at the Bridgeview includes individualized air-conditioning
units including a hand-held remote control. A replacement fee of $150 will be levied for
missing units. Please sign our guestbook by the main entrance (facing the parking lot to
the east of the building).
