See the world famous Rockville Bridge , up close and personal, at The Bridgeview Bed & Breakfast where history lives in our backyard!! This historic 122 year old, stone arch bridge is still in use and you can see over 50 trains a day going across it.
The Rockville Bridge is the longest stone arch bridge in the world, built between 1900-1902 by the Pennsylvania Railroad for a total length of 3,820 feet. The forty-eight stone arches have survived the passing of time from steam locomotives to modern diesels, floods, ice and snow. What a picture perfect scene, to see a train crossing the bridge with the beautiful Susquehanna River and Blue Mountain Range serving as a "back-drop".

162nd Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address 11/19/25

The 162nd Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address will be observed on November 19th, 2025 in the Soldiers' National Cemetery at Gettysburg National Military Park. This very memorable event , will commemorate Lincoln's famous speech for the dedication of the cemetery at Gettysburg. This observance is held annually in the Soldiers' National Cemetery. The program includes the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Soldier's National Monument, Memorial services, a formal ceremony with a special keynote speaker and a Remembrance Parade.
