A cold winter night, and the wind is blowing,
The clouds roll in and soon it is snowing.
Suddenly from the storm, what does appear?
A giant sleigh pulled by nine reindeer!
Leading the way with his nose shining bright,
Is Rudolph, guiding them through the blustery night,
A jolly old man is at the reigns,
Making his yearly visit once again.
Once Santa’s sack full of gifts is depleted,
Then, the night’s work is completed.
Santa and his crew decide to relax,
At a place down by the river & railroad tracks!
A very Merry Christmas from everyone here,

Bill Engvall is a multi-platinum selling comedian and recording artist. He is best known for his role as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. Bill also starred in The Bill Engvall Show on TBS, his solo albums topped Billboard’s Comedy Chart and, he won the 1992 American Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-Up Comedian.

Winter Solstice - First Day of Winter! 12/21/25

Even though Winter is alreay here, now it's official!!
The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. It occurs annually between December 20th and December 23rd. The winter solstice is marked by the point at which the North Pole is at its farthest from the sun during its yearly orbit around the sun. Despite the temperature outside, the winter solstice is considered the astronomical beginning of winter.
Meteorological winter begins December 1st and lasts until the end of February which is when the coldest average temperatures occur during the year.
Around the world, from ancient times to modern-day, celebrations, festivals, rituals and holidays recognizing the winter solstice have varied from culture to culture. However most of us celebrate when winter is over and spring has sprung!!
