Chartered in 1884, and opened in 1885, the Stewartstown Railroad survives today in very much original condition, and retains its distinctive charm.

Fort Hunter Garden Faire May 3rd, 2026

Fort Hunter is a beautiful Mansion and park located on the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg PA. They will be hosting their Garden Faire on May 3rd, 2026 10am - 4pm. Kick off the gardening season and celebrate the opening of Fort Hunter Mansion at this free event. Purchase some plants, visit over 30 craft vendors, dance a Maypole dance, enjoy lunch and experience Victorian Dancing and music.
