Annual Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival Feb 2nd & 3rd, 2024

The Annual Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival will take place February 2nd & 3rd, 2024, featuring lots of familiar and new winter-themed activities and events. Tons of sparkling ice art will grace downtown Lewisburg. Beautiful historic homes, tree-lined, lamp lit streets and a distinctive downtown district provide the perfect backdrop to the Festival. The event starts on Friday with the award-winning First Night Ice Carvers creating a giant sculpture in Hufnagle Park. Saturday is a great day with various games, Polar Bear Plunge and Chocolate Lovers Festival.

2023 Year In Review

2023 Year In Review
The year 2023 brought about some great changes!
Here are a few:
The Station Inn was purchased by Alex & Leah Lang, who have done a terrific job maintaining the Inn's character, created by Tom Davis, while making significant improvements as well!! There would be no Bridgeview Bed & Breakfast without the guidance and mentorship of Tom Davis!
An Alco PA now resides in PA!! The Delaware Lackawanna Railroad completed purchase of Doyle McCormick's beautifully restored Alco Passenger Locomotive, and moved it to Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The East Broad Top Railroad now has an operating steam locomotive for excursions, and continues its amazing revival!
Reading & Northern carries on expansion of their passenger train excursions, and 2023 saw the return of steam locomotive 2102 to excursion service!
Norfolk Southern is repainting the Heritage Locomotives in their existing colors, and the Harrisburg, PA area, continues to be quite a "Hot Spot" for train watching!!
