Exhibits include Steam Traction Engines, Antique Tractors, Threshing Machines, Hit & Miss Engines and Large Gas Engines, two Steam Train rides, plus operating Saw Mill & Shingle Mills. Visit the Model Shop and Antique Car Museum as well as a Large Stationary Steam Engine Museum. See the Large Rumely Display, Stationary Balers, Antique Wagons and the new Line Shaft Machine Shop. Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine & Steam Train is a unique experience in Ashland PA. They offer Coal Mine Tours through drift mines. The tours run 1800 feet straight into the side of the Mahanoy Mountain, riding in open mine cars pulled by a motor. There are also Scenic Train Tours that are great for the entire family. During the tour you get to see another type of mining and learn various things about the PA Coal mines.
